Safeguarding
Here at St Mary's Primary School Trust, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our students, and we believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Every member of our school community, staff, governors, parents, and visitors, plays a vital role in keeping children safe.
We foster a culture of safeguarding where students feel secure, are encouraged to talk, and are listened to. Through clear policies, robust procedures, ongoing staff training, and a strong safeguarding ethos embedded throughout our curriculum and wider school life, we ensure that children are protected, valued, and supported to thrive.
Safeguarding is not just about responding to concerns—it’s about creating an environment where safety, respect, and wellbeing are central to everything we do.
If you have any safeguarding concerns please contact one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) by emailing or phoning the school office.
